In this forever changing world my aspiration at the core of my soul is that every one of us needs to step up to our innate wisdom. This has meant taking responsibility for my own health and being the educator and healer for my clients so that I can empower them to realise that they have what it takes to embrace their own healing journey.

For over 25 years, I’ve excelled in the beauty and wellbeing industry as a cosmetologist (e.g: specialising in skin and make-up), as a coach in weight loss and managing women’s hormones and specialising in nutraceuticals. For the last three years I’ve mastered and practiced in Spinal Energetics as my primarily modality and more recently I’ve complemented this with Lymphatic Drainage Massage. I’ve continued to pursue my exposure to a range of other modalities as I’m committed to serving my clients at the highest level. To this degree I have now got a trusted network of colleagues that are experts in their individual practices that I can confidently refer my clients to, as appropriate.

In this next section I will briefly describe “What is the Lymphatic System?”, “What is Lymphatic Drainage Massage?” and “What is a tailored comprehensive health
consultation?”

What is the Lymphatic System?

The Lymphatic System (which is part of the immune system) is what keeps you healthy and can be best thought of as our ‘rubbish removal and transport system’ of our body. It works hand in hand with your cardiovascular system.

The lymphatic system is a network of vessels throughout the body that carry lymphatic fluid. This fluid is directed into the lymph nodes where it is cleansed, purified, and put back into the blood so it can be circulated throughout your blood vessels and fuel your organs.

You have what is described as a superficial and a deep system of lymph vessels which encompasses all the veins. The superficial system of lymphatic vessels is just underneath the epidermal layer of your skin and makes up 80% of the total lymphatic vessels in your body.

Therefore, the above Lymphatic System is very sensitive to external pressure when even a very light touch is applied is quite powerful in draining and cleansing toxic waste.
Your Lymphatic System is incredibly important for your overall health and wellbeing. It plays crucial roles in the body, ranging from managing the fluid levels of the immune system, removing dead cells and waste products from the body including even reabsorbing nutrients from the digestive system. All these roles help fight off any diseases or illnesses.

If one’s Lymphatic System is backed up or not working properly then it’s going to cause dysfunction to other parts of your body including your organs. The result of this means that it may be extremely challenging for your body to fight off any illnesses or viruses.

Good blood flow and strong oxygen levels in your bloodstream and how well these flow at a cellular level throughout every organ and inch of your body is your life insurance and the ultimate key to a strong healthy body and a long life. The care and maintenance of your lymphatic system is therefore paramount.

What is Lymphatic Drainage Massage?

This is a non-invasive light touch during massage, stimulating the natural flow of the Lymph fluid of the Lymphatic System to remove any toxic waste, excess fluid, reduce swelling, inflammation whilst improving circulation throughout the b0dy.

Having an effective functioning Lymphatic System keeps the body fluid levels balanced and at the same time defends the body against infection.

Both Lymphatic Drainage Massage & Spinal Energetics complement each other to promote and enhance a healthy immune and nervous system which in turn creates a balanced vitality, good health and ultimately an enjoyable lifestyle!

Being free of pain and having one’s body move freely to engage in life is the optimum outcome.
